Frequently Asked Questions

Haven't found what you're looking for? We're here to help.

How does recording in the studio work?

The studio is designed to be incredibly simple to use. Once everyone is seated and ready, you can start the entire recording process with a single button press.

That one action triggers the cameras, microphones and recording system simultaneously, so you can focus on the conversation rather than the technology.

The studio is primarily self-service, but everything is pre-configured so you can walk in and start recording within minutes.

Can someone help us during the recording?

Yes. While the studio is designed to be easy to operate yourself, studio operators can be booked to support your session.

They can assist with:

  • Camera framing
  • Guest setup
  • Monitoring audio and video
  • Ensuring everything runs smoothly

Many clients choose this option for extra peace of mind, especially when recording important episodes or brand content.

What equipment is included in the studio?

The studio is equipped with professional podcast and video production equipment including:

  • 3 × Blackmagic Studio 6K Pro cameras
  • Recording in 4K (2160p) H.265 at 30fps
  • Optional live-cut program feed via our Blackmagic ATEM switcher
  • Shure SM7B broadcast microphones
  • Professional lighting and acoustically treated room

The set is designed for up to four hosts or guests, making it ideal for interviews, conversations and panel podcasts.

Do you offer podcast editing?

Yes! We offer professional editing as an additional service.

This can include:

  • Full podcast episode edits
  • Multi-camera video editing
  • Audio clean-up and balancing
  • Social media clips and highlights

Many creators record with us and then let our team turn the session into a finished episode ready to publish.

How many people can record at once?

The studio is designed for up to four people recording at the same time, making it perfect for interviews, host-guest conversations or panel-style podcasts.

Do I need podcasting experience to use the studio?

Not at all. The studio was specifically designed so anyone can walk in and record a professional podcast, even if it’s your first time.

The recording system is simple, everything is pre-configured, and support can be booked if you'd like assistance during the session.

What happens after the recording?

After your session you'll receive all of your recorded files in a download link, including the individual camera recordings and program feed if used.

From there you can edit the episode yourself, or use our post-production services if you'd like us to handle the editing.

Can brands or businesses record podcasts here?

Absolutely. Many of our clients are brands, founders, marketing teams and agencies recording podcasts, interviews or thought-leadership content.

The studio provides a professional environment ideal for high-quality brand content.

Do I need to bring any equipment?

No, everything needed to record a professional podcast is included.

If you’d like to take the footage away immediately, we recommend bringing a fast external SSD for downloading your files.

As a guide, a 1-hour podcast typically generates around 120–180GB of footage (three camera ISOs plus the program feed in 4K H.265).

Can we record multiple episodes in one session?

Yes! Many creators choose to record multiple episodes in a single booking.

This is a great way to stay consistent with your content while making the most of your studio time. Once you're set up, you can record back-to-back episodes with minimal interruption.

If you're planning to batch record, we recommend allowing short breaks between episodes so guests can reset and your team can review the footage if needed.
